Revenue from clam exploitation reached 43.2 billion VND.

On average, each member household of Dong Tam Aquatic Cooperative, Binh Dai district (Ben Tre province) received 1.7 million VND in interest.
Dong Tam Aquaculture Cooperative is currently managing a clam farm with an area of 242.5 hectares.
The Board of Directors of the Cooperative always pays attention to the management and care of clams to achieve good reserves. The clam protection force regularly organizes patrols and coordinates with the Cua Dai Border Guard Station and the Commune Police and Military forces to protect the clams.
