Afternoon of June 24 - according to information from Dong Da Ward (new), Dong Da District, the ward's logo is designed with an overall circular shape, symbolizing the integrity, unity, and harmony between tradition - present - future. The center of the logo is a stylized image of Trung Liet Mieu gate, a typical construction on Dong Da Mound. Standing out on the gate's architecture are two letters "D", stylized and supported by two hands.
The logo is not only a mark of local administrative identification, but also carries a profound message about national pride, the spirit of solidarity and indomitability of the people of this historical land; preserving, inheriting and developing traditional cultural values; the aspiration to build Dong Da ward into a civilized, modern, and sustainably developed area, worthy of its position as the central land of the thousand-year-old capital.
Dong Da Ward (new) has a natural area of 2.08km², population of about 82,000 people; formed on the basis of merging all and part of the areas of the wards: Thinh Quang, Trung Liet, Quang Trung, Lang Ha, O Cho Dua and Nam Dong.
