DNVN - On November 22, the Vietnam Association of Realtors (VARS) announced the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct for Real Estate Brokers in Vietnam (amended and supplemented).
This is a special event, marking a new step forward in perfecting professional standards, enhancing the reputation and social responsibility of organizations and individuals operating in the real estate brokerage profession in Vietnam.
At the conference announcing the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct for Real Estate Brokers in Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Chi Thanh - Permanent Vice President of VARS emphasized that the real estate brokerage profession plays an important role in connecting, promoting transactions and developing a sustainable real estate market. However, in the context of an increasingly developing and fiercely competitive market, it is impossible to rely only on professional knowledge and skills but also to comply with strict professional ethics standards.
The Standing Vice President of VARS said that in 2018, VARS first published the Code of Ethics for Real Estate Brokerage. Given the constant development of the market and the law, it is necessary to amend and supplement to better meet the practical needs and the real estate market.
At the event, along with the announcement of the updated Code of Ethics for Real Estate Brokerage, VARS also announced the Code of Ethics and Conduct for Real Estate Trading Floors. Thereby, affirming the central role of trading floors and real estate brokerage companies in leading, standardizing brokerage activities and protecting the interests of market participants.
To ensure comprehensiveness, uniformity and transparency, the process of developing the code of conduct has been systematically implemented by VARS with the participation of experts and researchers. At the same time, opinions were widely sought from the investor community, customers and from organizations and individuals providing real estate brokerage services.
Specifically, this code of conduct is designed to establish principles and standards of ethics, culture and professional conduct for individuals and organizations operating in the real estate service business; demonstrating the aspiration to elevate the level of real estate brokers and the real estate brokerage profession in Vietnam.
VARS hopes that the code of conduct will encourage the real estate brokerage community to work together to build a healthy and sustainable business environment that meets the requirements and expectations of customers. Contribute to promoting the development of the Vietnamese real estate market, towards a transparent, fair, professional and sustainable real estate market.
