Phan Thiet City People's Committee has just held a conference to announce and award certificates to entities with 3-star OCOP products in the city.
Accordingly, the leaders of the Economic Department announced the City People's Committee's decision to recognize 7 products (OCOP) with 3 stars from 3 entities, including: Ba Hai MS40A Lu fish sauce and COOP SELECT Lu fish sauce - Ba Hai Fish Sauce Company Limited (Phu Hai ward); Dried white-fleshed dragon fruit and Dried red-fleshed dragon fruit - Huy Hoang Food Technology Company (Phong Nam commune); Chili sauce, Black sauce and Tomato sauce - Hoa Sen Business Household (Tien Thanh commune). Thus, up to now, the whole city has had 35 OCOP products certified with ratings from 3 to 5 stars, including 12 3-star products, 21 4-star products and 2 5-star products.

Chairing the ceremony to announce and award the certificate, Vice Chairman of Phan Thiet City People's Committee Le Van Chon emphasized: The OCOP program has been identified by the Prime Minister as one of the important solutions, not only contributing to increasing income for communes building new rural areas but also a solution for socio-economic development for localities. Therefore, it is necessary to have the cooperation and support for the development of the program of departments and branches; the proactive response, creativity, research of enterprises, cooperatives, cooperative groups as well as individual households participating in the OCOP program to create diversity in groups and types of OCOP products in Phan Thiet City. Vice Chairman of Phan Thiet City People's Committee congratulated the subjects with products meeting OCOP standards and ranked 3 stars this time; at the same time, requested that the subjects try to improve their products to be ranked 4 stars in the coming time.
