On the evening of June 21, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club defeated Long An Club 3-0 at home in the final round of the 2024 - 2025 First Division.

The result not only brought coach Huynh Quoc Anh and his team to the historic runner-up position but also won a place in the play-off match for the right to be promoted to V-League 2025 - 2026 on June 27 at Thong Nhat Stadium.

After the award ceremony, many fans came down to the field to celebrate with the players. They surrounded their idols to ask for autographs and take pictures with them. Among them, star striker Nguyen Cong Phuong was "surrounded" the most by fans.

Explaining this, Cong Phuong said that if he, Tu Nhan or any of his teammates scored and won the "Top Scorer" award, it would be a good thing. Because for him, the team's victory was more important.
