On September 18, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in restoring the power grid after storm No. 3. Phu Tho Power Company (PC Phu Tho ) was one of 12 collectives receiving the award.
Quang Ninh Provincial leaders awarded Certificates of Merit from Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee to representatives of Phu Tho PC Shock Team.
Following the direction of the Northern Power Corporation, from September 8, Phu Tho PC Phu Tho Power Company established 2 shock teams consisting of 25 skilled and experienced officers and workers and mobilized 2 operating cranes, 2 16-seat vehicles fully equipped with repair tools and equipment to immediately go to the road to help fix the power grid problem caused by storm No. 3 in Quang Ninh province.
At the assigned support points, the shock teams quickly coordinated with PC Quang Ninh forces to fix power grid problems in the cities of Ha Long, Uong Bi and Quang Yen district.
Many units and individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province for their outstanding achievements in coordinating and supporting the recovery of consequences after storm No. 3.
After 10 days of efforts, working day and night, being present at all damaged locations, up to now, the shock teams have fixed over 30 damaged pole locations, 26 substations, 96 low-voltage poles, together with PC Quang Ninh and other support forces, restored power supply to over 100,000 customers. Currently, PC Phu Tho's support force is still making efforts to repair and actively handle power grid problems, striving to restore power to people as soon as possible.
In recognition of the help and sincere feelings, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province decided to award Certificates of Merit to 12 groups and 23 individuals for their outstanding achievements in coordinating and supporting the recovery of the consequences of storm No. 3 in the province, including PC Phu Tho.
