In 2024, the hydrological situation encountered many difficulties, prolonged drought, water flow frequency was at 55%, lower than the average flow of many years, but the company still maintained stable production thanks to the full reservoir by the end of 2023, maintenance and repair work ensured quality progress, and the generators worked stably to meet the requirements of dispatching.
Thanks to that, the company produced 265.2 million kWh of electricity, profit reached 105.28 billion VND (plan assigned 86.65 billion VND), ensuring the completion of economic and technical targets assigned by Power Generation Corporation 2 (EVNGENCO2), no incidents occurred and contributed more than 56 billion VND to the state budget, successfully completing 7 set targets.
In addition, the company also pays special attention to social security work in 2024 with an implementation budget of more than 1 billion VND, including: building charity houses, supporting education , giving gifts to the poor, people with revolutionary contributions...
At the conference, EVNGENCO2 and Quang Tri Hydropower Company rewarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in Party and professional work in 2024 to promptly recognize, encourage and motivate each individual to continue to enthusiastically work and produce for the development of the company in particular and of EVNGENCO2 in general.
