On February 6, information from Vietnam Waste Treatment Company Limited (VWS) said that the company donated a hemodialysis machine to People's Hospital 115, to help poor patients have access to services and reduce waiting time. The hemodialysis machine sponsored by VWS Company is worth 350 million VND.

Dr. Tran Van Song, Deputy Director of People's Hospital 115, sent his thanks to VWS Company. VWS Company's donation of the dialysis machine comes at a time when the hospital is implementing many programs for poor patients.

People's Hospital 115 is treating about 1,000 patients on dialysis; in addition, the hospital's Nephrology Department is also the dialysis facility with the second largest number of patients in Vietnam. Patients with this disease face many difficulties, especially the cost of dialysis, medicine... Patients are very tired and under financial pressure for treatment, even though they have health insurance.

As the last line, People's Hospital 115 receives 350 emergency cases every day. Doctor Tran Van Song said: "The number of dialysis machines is also a pressure for the Nephrology Department because it is only enough for patients on regular dialysis, while there is a shortage of machines for emergency cases. Therefore, when VWS Company donated a dialysis machine to the hospital, it was very valuable. A machine like this can help 3-4 patients/day to receive dialysis and hundreds of patients receive dialysis every month."

Through that, Dr. Tran Van Song also hopes that VWS Company will continue to support poor patients of the hospital, helping patients have more conditions to receive good service.

Mr. David Duong, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of VWS Company, shared: "We are very happy to accompany and support the hospital to better care for disadvantaged patients. We will continue to implement many programs to support the hospital in the future."
