DNVN – A direct flight from Kazakhstan to Phu Quoc will open on October 30, marking an important milestone in connecting the pearl island with the tourism market from Central Asian countries.
Crystal Bay Tourism Group (CBG) said that from October 30, it will officially launch a direct flight from Astana - the capital of Kazakhstan to Phu Quoc, with a frequency of 1 flight per week.
Phu Quoc has just been voted the second most beautiful island in the world by a famous American travel magazine, after the Maldives.
The flight uses an Airbus A-330 aircraft, providing 375 seats, including 8 luxury seats, providing maximum comfort for passengers. This is an important milestone in connecting Phu Quoc with the tourism market from Central Asian countries.
Mr. Dzung Tran - Deputy General Director of Crystal Bay, added that CBG is also studying to expand the network with new direct flights from Astana and Aktobe - two strategic cities in northwestern Kazakhstan, bordering the Russian Federation. This promises to bring an even larger number of tourists from this region to the pearl island of Vietnam.
Over the years, CBG has successfully opened direct flights from Almaty - the ancient capital of Kazakhstan, as well as from Samarkand and Tashkent - two historical cities of Uzbekistan. These flights have brought tens of thousands of tourists from the Russian market and the former Soviet Union (CIS) countries to explore and relax in Nha Trang and Phu Quoc.
Tourists from CIS countries usually have a habit of vacationing for 10-14 days, especially they are very fond of tropical beaches with clear and warm water. Phu Quoc, with its wild natural beauty, is becoming one of their favorite destinations.
