On March 4, according to information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, during the recent operation, the unit's officers were moved to receive a heartfelt letter from Mr. Tran Cong Dai (78 years old, residing in Tho Xuan town, Tho Xuan district, Thanh Hoa ).

Mr. Dai has a granddaughter named Tran Bao Linh (born in 2012), a girl with tragic circumstances who is being sponsored by the Women's Association of the Staff Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police.

Thao Linh was born without the love of her father. Since her father left home, she and her mother have been living with her grandparents. Because she was born prematurely and had a congenital bone disease, her body was thin and small.

Four years ago, my mother suddenly passed away from a serious illness. All the burden fell on the hard-working shoulders of Mr. Dai and his wife. To earn money to send his grandchild to school, Mr. Dai opened a small repair shop at the beginning of the street.

Understanding Linh's difficult circumstances, in August 2022, the Women's Union of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Staff Department adopted her as a godchild. Every month, the godmothers support Tran Bao Linh with 500,000 VND. Along with that are household items, clothes, items and gifts sent to grandparents and her on holidays.

Recently, to thank the love of the godmothers, Mr. Tran Cong Dai wrote a letter with neat handwriting and emotional thoughts.

Not only that, Mr. Tran Cong Dai also wrote simple poems to send to officers and soldiers of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Chung, the program not only has practical and profound humane meaning, but also spreads a good image of female officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security. During the implementation of the program, many circumstances have changed their fate, creating a positive effect and receiving many deep gratitude from the people.
