Stores and businesses selling gasoline, liquefied petroleum gas in Hai Duong basically ensure quality and measurement standards.

Through the inspection of the Department of Science and Technology, it was shown that stores and businesses trading in gasoline, oil, and liquefied petroleum gas in the province have basically ensured quality standards, measurement management, and industrial property.

Implementing the plan for the peak period of fighting to prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property infringement in the province, the Department of Science and Technology is inspecting compliance with regulations on standards, measurements, product quality, trademarks, etc. at many stores and businesses selling gasoline, oil, and liquefied petroleum gas in the province.

At 16 stores and businesses, inspection of 71/71 pumps showed that the pumps ensure the sale of enough gasoline to customers for each transaction.

100% of the inspected stores and businesses used software to provide information about customer transactions. The stores strictly implemented regulations on quality management in petroleum business activities.

However, during the inspection, the authorities discovered a column (this column has a pump) measuring RON 95-III gasoline with an expired inspection certificate. The inspection team of the Department of Science and Technology drew up a record of administrative violations; at the same time, decided to impose a fine of 5 million VND.

The 4 inspected liquefied gas stores and businesses all used certified measuring instruments, and the pre-packaged shipments met the requirements.

For 4 stores and businesses trading in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), the delegation inspected the use of group 2 measuring devices during storage, decanting, filling, and trading; checked the amount of LPG in bottles according to requirements for pre-packaged goods; inspected the implementation of regulations on quality management, product labeling, and industrial property.

As a result, the measuring instruments have been inspected, the inspection certificates are still valid; the pre-packaged goods meet the requirements, ensuring product labels, and the implementation of industrial property regulations are in accordance with regulations.

The peak period of the fight to prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property infringement in the province took place from May 27 to June 15.
