In 2021, Hoang Anh Tu decided to quit his office job and pursue a career in ceramic painting. Working at the pottery kiln, Tu encountered stray cats around the area every day.
Having loved cats since childhood and sympathizing with animals that go hungry one day and full the next, Tu took this as an idea and created his unique products.
Tu puts the image of a cat on his products. Tu creates cat cups, cat statues, pins… all in cute, funny cat shapes. Before taking shape, the ceramic cat is hand-molded by Tu, waited for it to dry, then colored, glazed and fired.
Tu plans to study more about pottery in the near future, so that he can tell interesting stories about cats in his works.
