On June 19, information from Binh Phuoc Provincial Police, related to the brawl that occurred on the night of June 17 on DT.759 road (Phuoc Son Hamlet, Phuoc Binh Ward, Phuoc Long Town), up to now the police force has arrested 4 related suspects, of which 1 suspect surrendered.
Previously, as Thanh Nien reported, at around 10 p.m. on June 17, local residents suddenly discovered two groups fighting on DT.759 road, in Phuoc Son Hamlet, Phuoc Binh Ward, causing Nguyen Hoang Tan (31 years old, residing in Phuoc Long Town) to die on the spot, and Phung Minh Man (34 years old, residing in Phuoc Long Town) to be seriously injured and taken to the emergency room by local residents.
Crime scene
After receiving the report, Phuoc Long Town Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department's Investigation Police Department and the Criminal Techniques Department of Binh Phuoc Provincial Police, and the People's Procuracy of Binh Phuoc Province to conduct a crime scene investigation, autopsy, and arrest the suspects.
According to initial investigation, on the evening of June 17, Phung Minh Man drove a motorbike carrying Nguyen Hoang Tan on Highway 759, from Phu Rieng District to Phuoc Long Town.
When they reached the Phuoc Son KP (Phuoc Binh Ward), Man and Tan were blocked by four young men on two motorbikes going in the same direction from behind. The four young men then got off their motorbikes and attacked Tan and Man with weapons. Tan ran away for a while before collapsing on the side of the road and dying. Meanwhile, Man was seriously injured and was taken to the Phuoc Long Town Medical Center by local people for emergency treatment and then transferred to Cho Ray Hospital (HCMC) for treatment. After committing the crime, the group of young men quickly left the scene.
4 suspects detained
Through investigation, the police identified Doan Hoang Nam (22 years old); Nguyen Duy Quyen (23 years old); Vo Tran Trung Nam (22 years old, all living in Phuoc Long City) and Nguyen Tien Cong (19 years old) as the four suspects directly causing the above murder case.
After more than a day of pursuit, at 6:00 a.m. on June 19, the Criminal Police Department of Binh Phuoc Province Police coordinated with Phuoc Long Town Police and Binh Long Town Police to arrest Hoang Nam, Trung Nam and Tien Cong while the suspects were hiding at a motel in Thanh Phu Commune, Binh Long Town. Nguyen Duy Quyen surrendered to the police on the morning of June 19.
