Da Nang calls for investment in 164 billion VND multi-purpose waste treatment plant
Da Nang City invites businesses interested in investing in the Multi-purpose Waste Treatment Plant Project, with a total capital of more than 164 billion VND.
On May 24, Mr. Nguyen Huu Nhat, Director of the Danang Urban Development and Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board, said that the unit has posted a dossier inviting businesses to show interest in the Multi-purpose Waste Treatment Plant project.
The multi-purpose waste treatment plant, located at Khanh Son landfill (Hoa Khanh Nam ward, Lien Chieu district) has a total construction area of 24,726 m2; total waste treatment capacity from 136 tons/day to 461.4 tons/day.
The project has a total investment capital of over 164.4 billion VND. Of which, the preliminary cost of project implementation is over 162 billion VND. The cost of compensation, support, and resettlement is over 1.9 billion VND...
According to the Decision approving information on the investment project of the multi-purpose waste treatment plant project at Khanh Son landfill area of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the project aims to recycle and treat hazardous waste.
At the same time, ensure the collection, classification, transportation, storage, treatment, recycling, and destruction of hazardous waste in the city. According to the Decision of Da Nang City, the owner's equity capital ensures a minimum of 20% of the total project implementation cost, equivalent to more than 32.8 billion VND. Other legally mobilized capital is a maximum of 80% of the total project implementation cost, equivalent to more than 131.5 billion VND.
The project shall carry out the procedure of inviting expressions of interest applicable to projects requiring the determination of the number of interested investors in accordance with the provisions of law. The investor shall prepare and submit the application for registration to carry out the investment and business project on the national bidding network as required.
In case there are two or more investors meeting the requirements, an open bidding will be organized to select the investor. In case there is only one investor registering and meeting the requirements, the investor will be approved according to the provisions of the law on investment...

The Management Board of Infrastructure Construction Investment and Urban Development Projects of Da Nang City was assigned by Da Nang City to post project information.
