Da Nang operates two new bus routes to Cua Dai and Tam Ky bridge

On July 17, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City said it had agreed with the proposal of the Smart Traffic Operation Center to merge and put into operation two bus routes from Da Nang Central Bus Station to Cua Dai, Tam Ky Bridge and vice versa, starting from July 18.

Specifically, the new bus route No. 02 is merged from route 02 and LK02, 46.7km long, from Da Nang Central Bus Station to Cua Dai (Hoi An Dong ward) and vice versa.

Specific route of bus route number 02: departs from Da Nang Central Bus Station via Nam Tran, Ly Thai Tong, Nguyen Tat Thanh, 3/2 Street, Tran Phu (Da Nang City Administrative Center), Nguyen Van Linh, 2/9 Street, Tien Son Bridge, Le Van Hien, Tran Dai Nghia, DT 607 to Hoi An City (old) via routes Nguyen Tat Thanh, Hoi An Bus Station, Ly Thuong Kiet, Tran Nhan Tong, Cua Dai, Au Co, Cua Dai Inland Waterway Terminal parking lot.

At the same time, bus route number 21, merging from route 21 and LK21, is 77.2km long, from Da Nang Central Bus Station to Tam Ky bridge (Huong Tra ward) and vice versa.

Route of bus route number 21: departs from Da Nang Central Bus Station via Ton Duc Thang, Hue intersection overpass, Dien Bien Phu, Nguyen Duc Trung, Tran Cao Van, Dong Da, Ly Tu Trong, Tran Phu (Da Nang City Administrative Center), Nguyen Van Linh, September 2 Street, Cach Mang Thang Tam, Ong Ich Duong, Cam Le Bridge, Pham Hung, National Highway 1, old Huong An Bridge..., connecting Tam Ky bus station via Phan Boi Chau - Phan Chau Trinh - Tam Ky Bridge route.

Both routes go through the central area of Da Nang City, adding large buses (B55), increasing peak hour frequency (5 minutes/trip on Tam Ky route, 20 minutes/trip on Cua Dai route), and arranging additional stops at Park & Ride areas to support people transferring from personal vehicles to buses.

Depending on the route distance, one-way ticket prices range from 8,000 - 48,000 VND for regular passengers, from 6,000 - 36,000 VND for officials, civil servants and public employees. Students pay the same price of 8,000 VND.

For monthly tickets, route 02 sells tickets for 700,000 VND/month for regular passengers; 490,000 VND/month for officials, civil servants, and public employees. Route 21 sells tickets for 850,000 VND/month for regular passengers; 600,000 VND/month for officials, civil servants, and public employees.

Students, seniors aged 60 and over, people receiving policies for war invalids and sick soldiers with less than 81% disability, and people with disabilities (severe or mild) can buy monthly tickets for the two routes above for 300,000 VND and 400,000 VND respectively.

In addition, bus routes operated by Phuong Trang Futabuslines Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company will provide free tickets for priority passengers (Children under 6 years old, people with severe disabilities, veteran revolutionary cadres; Vietnamese heroic mothers; wounded and sick soldiers with a disability rate of 81%; resistance fighters infected with chemical toxins with a labor loss of 81% or more; Heroes of the armed forces; Labor heroes; fathers, mothers, wives and children of martyrs).
