According to Deputy General Director Ngo Minh Hien, in the digital transformation era, VOV does not simply do radio and television broadcasting, but all of VOV's products are produced for multi-platform use. In the context of strong social network development, the management of press activities, press profession, especially press ethics is highly focused on by the Vietnam Journalists Association in general and VOV in particular.

In particular, VOV also has its own regulations and guidelines on press ethics for VOV staff to follow.

Deputy General Director Ngo Minh Hien expressed his willingness to share with Thailand experiences in press management, press operations, especially press ethics.

Sharing the same view, Chairman of the National Press Council of Thailand Chavarong Limpattamapanee said that improving press ethics is of special interest to the National Press Council of Thailand and wishes to cooperate and exchange experiences with VOV on this content.

Mr. Chavarong informed that the National Press Council of Thailand is managing about 60% of press organizations and agencies in Thailand. However, in the context of a rapidly developing digital society, controlling social ethics, especially press ethics, is very important, how to follow the principle of diverse and multi-dimensional information, ensuring that the information provided to the people is authentic.

"We plan to organize a workshop in the near future, inviting press agencies from ASEAN countries to share about press ethics management. We look forward to consulting with VOV," Mr. Chavarong Limpattamapanee emphasized.

At the same time, Mr. Chavarong Limpattamapanee hopes to strengthen external connections between press agencies to promote cooperation between the Vietnamese and Thai press.
