In the first 9 months of 2024, the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee have led and directed Party committees, Party organizations, and functional agencies to effectively carry out tasks of internal affairs, prevention and control of corruption and negative practices. The work of receiving citizens and handling petitions and letters is carried out in accordance with regulations.

The Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee have promptly led and directed, and issued policies to handle complicated cases and incidents, and public opinion is concerned about security and order.

Crime was controlled and reduced by 10.4% compared to the same period. Crime related to social order decreased by 4.02%.

There are no sudden or unexpected incidents or situations in the province, ensuring security and order, creating favorable conditions for socio -economic development in the area.

Comrade Huynh Ngoc Anh, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, informed about internal affairs activities and judicial reform in the first 9 months of 2024.

The agencies have received 959 denunciations and reports of crimes. In the investigation of criminal cases, the authorities have received 756 cases with 1,462 defendants and resolved 559 cases with 1,069 defendants. The People's Courts at two levels have resolved 2,953 cases, including 632 criminal cases.

The work of preventing and combating TN-TC continues to be promoted, strongly affirming the determination of Dak Nong Party Committee in the fight against TN-TC.

Prominent cases of national scale are directed to be clarified and handled according to regulations.

Comrade Le Van Chien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee discussed the direction and management of some outstanding and complicated cases.

The provincial armed forces have actively advised local Party committees and authorities to lead, direct, and focus on building all-people national defense, all-people national defense posture associated with people's security and solid all-people border defense.

The forces proactively grasp, analyze, and correctly assess the situation, promptly resolve complicated cases, effectively combat and handle all types of crimes, and maintain political security and social order and safety.

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee will continue to direct party committees at all levels and functional agencies to well perform 7 key tasks.
