On the morning of July 30, Secretary Nguyen Duy Lam and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai chaired a working session with the Northern Power Corporation on power supply for projects in the Central Industrial Park, lots CN4, CN5 (Vung Ang Economic Zone) and Gia Lach Industrial Park.
Attending were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bao Ha; leaders of a number of departments, branches, localities, units and project investors.
On behalf of the Northern Power Corporation, there was Mr. Nguyen Duc Thien - General Director.
According to the report at the working session, currently, the power source and grid system in the province is planned and invested quite synchronously, basically meeting the electricity demand for socio -economic development, production - business and people's daily life.
Regarding power supply for Vung Ang Economic Zone projects, the independent power supply for projects in the central industrial park of lots CN4 and CN5 is from the 22kV parallel line with a length of 8.5km, currently carrying 56% and 63% load; receiving power from the 110kV Vung Ang transformer station (capacity 63MVA) currently carrying 54% load. To ensure stable and reliable power supply, Ha Tinh Electricity Company is implementing a project to install Transformer T2 (capacity 40MVA) at the 110kV Vung Ang transformer station, according to the plan to complete the project in December 2025.
After the project is completed, the factories in lots CN4 and CN5 will be independently supplied with electricity from Transformer T2 of the 110kV Vung Ang Transformer Station. With the current capacity demand of the factories in the central industrial park of lots CN4 and CN5, the regional power grid can fully meet the investor's requirements.
For the expanded Gia Lach Industrial Park, the registered load demand in 2025 is 3MW, the Nghi Xuan 110kV Transformer Station still ensures electricity supply. To ensure stable and reliable electricity supply in the coming time, the Northern Power Corporation has planned and arranged capital to invest in the construction of a 110kV Transformer Station to supply electricity to Gia Lach Industrial Park according to the planning, providing sufficient and stable electricity for investors in the Industrial Park and neighboring areas.
At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing, analyzing difficulties and proposing solutions for the electricity supply situation, plans for developing the power supply network in the area, especially serving industrial parks and key projects in the coming time.
Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai highly appreciated the coordination and support of the Northern Power Corporation in ensuring a stable power source, meeting the requirements of strategic investors.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province requested the Northern Power Corporation to continue directing and prioritizing the allocation of investment capital for key power grid projects, ensuring safe and stable power supply for large loads, especially in the Vung Ang Economic Zone, industrial parks, industrial clusters and public administrative offices in newly established communes and wards; review and allocate new investment capital and upgrade the 110kV power grid according to the National Power Planning and Provincial Planning.
At the same time, coordinate to effectively implement underground projects and urban beautification projects; create conditions and unify policies for investors to self-invest in 110kV transformer stations in industrial parks, ensuring synchronization, modernity and suitability with development trends...
