In 1930, Mrs. Dang Thi Sam, Dang Huy Tru's granddaughter, built a tomb for him. At the same time, she also built Dang Huy Tru Church in her hometown Thanh Luong. The Dang Huy Tru Tomb and Church were recognized as national relics by the Ministry of Culture and Information (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in Decision No. 2307QD/VH dated December 30, 1991.

The Dang Huy Tru church relic has typical values in terms of history, culture and architectural art. In particular, the church still preserves many sources of Chinese documents, such as: horizontal lacquered boards, parallel sentences, royal decrees... These are important documents of the family, helping today's and future generations have the opportunity to learn more about the historical origins, culture, customs and practices of the Dang family in particular and of the Vietnamese community in general.
