On June 2, the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Bien Hoa City (Dong Nai) issued a disciplinary decision to ban an amateur player from playing.

In the 81st minute of the first semi-final, Nguyen Phuong Tuan (blue and yellow shirt) hit the referee in the face.

The player who was disciplined was Nguyen Phuong Tuan (living in Binh Da Ward, Bien Hoa City). The reason this player hit the referee during the match.

Previously, in the semi-final match of the 11-a-side men's football tournament organized by Bien Hoa City, which took place on the afternoon of August 1, in the 81st minute, Nguyen Phuong Tuan of VTP FC team punched the referee in the face.

Therefore, the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Bien Hoa City decided to ban Nguyen Phuong Tuan from competing for 2 years (from June 2, 2023) in Bien Hoa City tournaments.

During the disciplinary process, Nguyen Phuong Tuan was not allowed to participate in tournaments organized by Bien Hoa City and local grassroots tournaments.
