Strolling on Bai Sau beach, tourists picked up a bag suspected of containing drugs

On February 14, the Traffic Police Team of Vung Tau City Police (Ba Ria-Vung Tau) handed over a plastic bag containing more than 1 kg of suspected crystal meth to the Drug Crime Investigation Team to investigate and clarify its origin.

Suspected crystal meth found by a tourist at Back Beach, Vung Tau City

Previously, on the evening of February 13, a male tourist from Binh Phuoc province went to Bai Sau beach, Thuy Van street, Vung Tau city to play. While walking on the beach, the male tourist discovered a plastic bag floating on the sea, so he picked it up and opened it to check.

After checking, the male tourist discovered a white object suspected to be drugs inside the plastic bag, so he brought it to the Traffic Police of Vung Tau City Police who were on duty at Bai Sau.

Through initial inspection, the task force suspected that this was crystal meth, so they received it, made a record of sealing it, and handed it over to the Drug Crime Investigation Team of Vung Tau City Police to investigate and clarify the origin.
