(GLO)- Surpassing famous islands that have become familiar to international tourists, Vietnam's pearl island Phu Quoc has excellently entered the top 3 most beautiful islands in the Asia-Pacific region in 2025, alongside Bali (Indonesia) and Koh Samui (Thailand).

Travel + Leisure - a globally renowned travel magazine with a large readership of high-end travel tastes - has just announced the Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2025. This is an annual award to honor luxury destinations in the region with rapid tourism growth, based on criteria of service, resort ecosystem, entertainment and personalized experiences.

In the category of the most beautiful island in Asia - Pacific in 2025, Phu Quoc ranked third, surpassing many prominent destinations such as Palawan (Philippines), Langkawi (Malaysia) or Sumba (Indonesia).

Among the islands of Vietnam, Phu Quoc has the largest area, famous for its beautiful beaches such as Bai Kem, Bai Sao with creamy white sand, mild nature and calm sea, clear water. In addition to the natural landscape, Ngoc Island is also considered one of the most attractive destinations in Vietnam due to its many iconic entertainment ecosystems, interesting cultural and historical experiences, and diverse resort options from budget to super luxury.

Not only this award, Phu Quoc has been honored many times by international media. Since the beginning of 2025, Phu Quoc pearl island has continuously received good news from magazines, specialized pages and news agencies around the world, when it was voted at high rankings.

According to the General Department of Tourism, by the end of May 2025, Phu Quoc welcomed more than 4.5 million visitors, an increase of 33.3% over the same period. Of which, international visitors reached nearly 900,000, an increase of 76.7%.
These awards and telling numbers demonstrate Phu Quoc's impressive resilience on its journey to becoming a global destination, increasingly attractive to international tourists.
