At the end of May 2024, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper organized a seminar on "Solutions to promote the development of Vietnam's cultural industry by 2030". The seminar was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture - Sports - Tourism, the Department of Culture - Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, departments, branches, associations and many businesses and artists operating in the cultural field.
At this seminar, we have recorded a lot of new and valuable information about the current status of Vietnam's cultural industry, the bottlenecks, difficulties and advantages. The guests also proposed many practical and feasible solutions, which were accepted by state management agencies.
Realizing that the cultural industry still has a lot of room for further discussion and in-depth discussion, especially after the Prime Minister signed and issued Directive No. 30/CT-TTg on the development of Vietnam's cultural industries on August 29, 2024, the Lao Dong Newspaper will organize the second discussion on this issue, with the theme: "Developing the Cultural Industry: What are the pillars?" at the Lao Dong Newspaper on the morning of December 5.

The seminar is a place to look back at the appearance of the world's cultural industry, which is developing strongly and has an impact on Vietnam, in which Ho Chi Minh City - although having great potential, the level of development and efficiency of exploiting the cultural industry is still limited.

The seminar will discuss in depth the success of two outstanding music programs in Ho Chi Minh City: "Anh trai say hi" and "Ho Zo"; besides that, there will be information about the movie "Dat rung phuong Nam" and movies that have achieved revenue of hundreds of billions. Artists will discuss the methods, experiences, and lessons learned from these successful projects and aim to build the cultural industry of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country in general.
