In order to have temporary accommodation for officials, civil servants and public employees of the old Phu Yen province to work at the new administrative center, the Department of Construction has coordinated with departments and branches to propose to the Provincial People's Committee to use the existing housing fund of educational institutions and accommodation facilities to arrange for the period from July 1, 2025 to September 1, 2025.

| The Provincial People's Committee has issued a decision approving the tasks and budget estimates for renovating and repairing the dormitory of the Faculty of Medicine (Tay Nguyen University) to serve as temporary accommodation for cadres, civil servants and public employees. |
Specifically, 48 officials under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee were arranged temporary accommodation at the following facilities: Biet Dien Hotel, Provincial Political School, Nursing Home for Meritorious People, Trade Union Guest House, Official House of Hanoi Law University, Dak Lak Branch, and Dak Lak College Dormitory.
In addition, 67 officers who are department leaders and specialists are arranged temporary accommodation at the dormitory of Dak Lak College and the dormitory of Dak Lak Pedagogical College.
Currently, the Department of Construction is also urgently renovating and repairing a number of public housing areas. Accordingly, for public housing No. 39 - 41 Tran Nhat Duat Street, the selection of construction contractors, construction supervision consultants and construction insurance has been completed by the Department of Construction and construction started on June 30, expected to be completed on July 30.
In order to meet the earliest accommodation needs for the staff arranged to stay here, the Department of Construction has directed the construction unit to urgently deploy, speed up the progress, try to complete earlier than expected and ensure the quality of the project.

Regarding the official residence at 34H Thang Long Street, on July 2, 2025, the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision on supplementing the 2025 state budget expenditure estimate for the Provincial Party Committee Office for repair and renovation. Currently, the Provincial Party Committee Office is preparing a dossier to approve the estimate and sign a contract with the construction unit according to regulations. The minimum time to complete the repair and renovation work is 30 days.
Regarding the dormitory of the Faculty of Medicine of Tay Nguyen University, on June 5, the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision approving the tasks and budget estimates for renovation and repair. On June 26, the Department of Finance submitted a proposal to supplement the 2025 state budget expenditure estimates for the Department of Construction to carry out the task of renovating and repairing the dormitory of the Faculty of Medicine of Tay Nguyen University. Currently, the Provincial People's Committee has not yet issued an approval decision.
According to the Department of Construction, the Provincial People's Committee and Tay Nguyen University have sent a dispatch to the Ministry of Education and Training requesting to receive and transfer the dormitory of the Faculty of Medicine of Tay Nguyen University. The Ministry is currently considering sending its opinion to the Ministry of Finance for a decision on the transfer. After the Ministry of Finance has decided to transfer the assets and the Provincial People's Committee allocates capital, the Department of Construction will carry out the work of advising the Provincial People's Committee to change the function, carry out the renovation and repair work, with the total estimated time of implementation being at least 75 days.
Regarding the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee Guest House, on June 20, 2025, the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision on supplementing the 2025 state budget expenditure estimate for the Provincial Party Committee Office to repair and renovate the Provincial Party Committee Guest House. Currently, the Provincial Party Committee Office is carrying out the work of preparing, approving and selecting construction contractors; at the same time, implementing the work of proposing the conversion of the function to official housing, the minimum time to complete is 45 days.
