After the historic victory of the Vietnamese football team at the AFF Cup 2024, the celebratory atmosphere in the capital Hanoi became more exciting than ever. Thousands of fans poured into the central streets, especially in Hoan Kiem district, creating a festival filled with cheers and the red color of the national flag.

The long lines of cars, the loud honking of horns, the bright smiles all over the streets, especially the traffic awareness of the people became the bright spots in this celebration.

On the streets, the number of vehicles is dense but people still strictly follow traffic laws. At intersections, red lights are not ignored as in previous "storms".

Ms. My Dung (Cau Giay District, Hanoi) shared: "In the past, when "going out", many people often paid little attention to stopping at red lights. But this time I saw something very different. Even though there were still a few seconds of green light, the motorcyclist slowed down to prepare to stop. Perhaps because the penalty for running red lights is more severe, people's awareness has been raised."

Similarly, at the Hai Ba Trung - Ngo Quyen intersection, beautiful images of traffic awareness also attracted many people's attention. Fans called each other to celebrate but did not forget to remind each other not to cross the line, although the joy of victory was still overwhelming.

While waiting for the lights, the shouts of "Vietnam is the champion!" and the sounds of drums and trumpets still resonated with pride at the team's victory.

Mr. Gia Hung, a fan from Dong Da district, said that he and his friends had discussed it before joining the celebration festival: "We told each other to stop seriously at red lights, not to cause traffic accidents just for the fun of it. The joy of victory will be more complete when everyone maintains order and awareness," he said.
