All athletes in 4 distances started from Ho Chi Minh Square, through routes such as Hung Vuong, Nguyen Trai, Quach Xuan Ky... in Dong Hoi ward.
The starting time of each race is from 3am to 5am, divided into time slots to ensure order and safety during the competition.
One of the most impressive moments on the race track around Dong Hoi ward is when the athletes cross Nhat Le bridge, the iconic bridge connecting the two poetic river banks towards the beautiful Bao Ninh peninsula.
Although the starting time was still dark, that could not stop thousands of athletes of all ages, from young children eager to compete for the first time to veterans always eager to overcome their limits.
The marathon journey is also a walk through memories, as the competition route passes through historical landmarks of Dong Hoi such as Tam Toa Church, war relics located on the peaceful Nhat Le River, both reminiscent and spiritually empowering.
Misting nozzles along the racetrack prepared by locals become “cooling stations” to help athletes cool down and recharge their energy on their journey to conquer the distance.
When the first rays of dawn begin to flicker on the horizon, the entire coastal road of Quang Tri seems to put on a new coat, brilliant, romantic and poetic.
Amidst that poetic scene, thousands of athletes of all ages are still tirelessly walking, trying their best to break through, each carrying a goal, a desire to reach the finish line. It is a journey of will, of the sublime beauty of sports amidst a nature full of vitality.

Vo Nguyen Giap Road appears poetically beautiful with green grass and flowers on both sides of the road, providing a challenging yet poetic running experience.
To keep body temperature stable and maintain endurance throughout the journey, many athletes choose to pour water over their heads as an effective cooling method during competition.
Pham Tuan Hung (23 years old, Quang Ninh) is one of the special athletes in Quang Tri this year when he registered to participate in two major sporting events: Aqua Warriors Quang Tri 2025 biathlon and Quang Tri International Marathon - Camel Cup 2025.
Sharing on the day of the competition, Hung said he felt extremely excited: "I have been practicing regularly for a long time, so today's run felt quite easy and kept a very stable pace. The vibrant atmosphere, beautiful running track and everyone's cheering made this experience truly memorable."
On the road with brilliant sunset light, many athletes stopped to capture memorable moments between the beautiful nature and the warm morning sun, becoming an unforgettable mark of the running journey between the land and sky of Quang Tri.
One of the memorable moments on the track was when an athlete dressed in a bird-shaped costume, holding the national flag fluttering in the wind.
Starting to run in 2022, Ms. Phuong Thao has participated in many tournaments, but this time became more special than ever when she walked on the running track with her 2-year-old son Gia Bao.
“My child is still young but he is very excited about the exciting atmosphere of the tournament. I pushed his stroller for the entire 5km, running and enjoying this meaningful moment. It is an unforgettable memory in my journey of motherhood and also the first time my child accompanied me in a sports tournament,” Ms. Thao shared.
The Nhat Le River route leading straight to the coastal route of the same name is part of the race course of this year's tournament.
With the gentle beauty of the river embracing the streets and the clear blue sea water, the long stretch of fine sand, this route brings an interesting experience to athletes.
