(DN) - On August 3, Mr. Nguyen Phong An, Secretary of the Party Committee of Phuoc Tan Ward, said: Currently, 4 cases of illegal production and business establishments in an area of more than 72 hectares in Phuoc Tan Ward are being dismantled and relocated.

Accordingly, these 4 facilities began dismantling and moving assets from the afternoon of August 2.

Previously, on August 1, the People's Committee of Phuoc Tan Ward coordinated with relevant agencies to hold a meeting to approve a plan to implement remedial measures for 4 cases of violations of construction and land use order in an area of over 72 hectares in Phuoc Tan Ward, including: LTTh. (Ward 3A, Long Binh Ward), Tr.H.D. (Ward 5, Long Binh Ward), BVB (Ward Long Diem, Long Hung Ward) and Tr.TDC (An Hoi Dong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). According to the plan, Phuoc Tan Ward will implement enforcement against these cases from August 4.

According to Mr. Nguyen Phong An, tomorrow (August 4), the authorities of Phuoc Tan ward will continue to inspect these establishments. In case the establishments have not completed the dismantling and relocation of assets, the authorities of the ward will send support forces.

The land area of more than 72 hectares in Phuoc Tan ward is an area planned for forest plantation. However, many years ago, some individuals illegally built factories and business establishments in this area.

Implementing the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, Phuoc Tan ward has reviewed and developed a plan to handle and relocate facilities and businesses in this area.

According to the review results of the People's Committee of Phuoc Tan Ward, in the area of more than 72 hectares, there are 48 establishments and enterprises building factories on 68 plots of land. Of these, by the end of June 2025, the People's Committee of Bien Hoa City (old) had issued 48 decisions to enforce remediation in the fields of land and construction, including 23 cases in the field of land and 25 cases in the field of construction.

As of July 25, 2025, out of 48 establishments and enterprises, 2 cases have complied with the demolition of construction works, 2 cases have stopped operations.
