On the evening of March 13, a motorbike taxi driver (who requested not to be named) in the Grap 69 Star group in Ca Mau City returned the money that was mistakenly transferred to a customer.
Before that, he drove a woman from Ward 9 to Ca Mau Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital. Upon arrival, the woman paid the fare by bank transfer with a fare of 60,000 VND.
However, due to carelessness, this woman mistakenly transferred 60,000,000 VND to the driver. Neither the passenger nor the driver knew about this mistaken transfer of money.
The next morning, the driver transferred money to someone else and discovered that his account had a large balance. Checking the transfer history, he discovered that the account named Nguyen Thi Ut had transferred 60,000,000 VND. Comparing the information and time of the transfer, the driver realized that the person who transferred the money by mistake was the passenger who took the bus the night before.
The driver notifies the team members and searches for the person who made the wrong transfer.
"The group also went to the bank to ask for information about the account owner to meet or request to directly transfer the money to the customer who transferred the money by mistake, but the bank did not agree because it did not comply with customer information confidentiality regulations," the driver recounted.
Therefore, the group asked a Facebook account owner, Le Thanh Hai, to post a message to help find the customer who mistakenly transferred money.
After the news was posted, a woman named Ut called and asked Le Thanh Hai to connect her to get her money back. After receiving the money, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ut thanked the driver and asked for a reward. However, the driver refused to accept it and only took the full 60,000 VND for the ride.

Previously, some members of the group often encountered cases where passengers mistakenly transferred money higher than the fare while driving and always returned it to the customer.
