In the spirit of goodwill, openness, frankness and trust, with the theme "Continuing friendship, holding hands together to move forward", the delegates discussed three topics: politics - foreign affairs, economics - trade - local cooperation, humanities and academic exchanges.
The delegates discussed and agreed to implement the common perceptions reached between the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries. Through the people-to-people diplomacy channel, the two sides will jointly promote political trust, strengthen economic -trade connectivity, substantive and effective local cooperation, and enhance exchanges between press, propaganda, academic, theoretical research and youth exchanges.

The Vietnam-China People's Forum is a people's dialogue mechanism initiated by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries since 2010, and has been held 12 times to date. The forum is held annually, alternating between the two countries, becoming one of the important cooperation mechanisms for the two sides to discuss measures to promote Vietnam-China friendship.

* On this occasion, Vice Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Zhou Qiang received and had a friendly talk with the delegation.
Hunan Provincial Party Secretary Shen Xiaoming received and discussed with the delegation the socio-economic development situation of Hunan province and the friendly cooperation between Hunan province and Nghe An province and other provinces and cities of Vietnam.
Delegates laid flowers at Chairman Mao Zedong Square and visited the site of Chairman Mao Zedong's former residence in Shaoshan City, Hunan Province, China.
