(NLDO) – The Nam O eco- tourism area in Da Nang has had its planning adjusted due to construction encroaching on the safety corridor of the Nam O railway bridge.
Recently, Mr. Le Quang Nam, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee, has just signed a decision approving the local adjustment of the detailed planning 1/500 of Nam O Eco-tourism Area.
Accordingly, the total area of the planning adjustment study is more than 136,000 m2. The adjustment content is to specifically determine the railway safety corridor and the protection area of the Nam O railway bridge, then rearrange the project's works and adjust some land use indicators.
Nam O eco-tourism project's planning was adjusted due to encroachment on railway safety corridor.
Specifically, the southwest area of the project adjusted the land area of the railway safety corridor from 7,055 m2 to 12,444.5 m2.
Adjust the location of the parking lot (P4) from the northern side of the residential area to the southern side (P5) of the Nam O railway bridge protection area. At the same time, a parking lot should be arranged near the railway bridge protection area instead of a high-rise building as before to ensure safety.
For land for tourism service projects, adjust the total area from 65,314 m2 to 66,783 m2; adjust the location of the tourist apartment plots with symbols A7-1, A7-2 to the Southeast.
Adjust the hotel land lot with symbol A1 from the west of the project to the sea bordering the west of Nam O rapids. Reduce the area of public green space, lakes and roads due to the impact of increasing the area of the railway safety corridor and the protection range of Nam O railway bridge.
In the Southeast area, the project adjusted the total land area for tourism service works from 21,669 m2 to 20,200 m2. Increase the area of green land for public use and traffic roads at the project entrance to create an airy landscape.
Trung Thuy - Da Nang Joint Stock Company (project investor) is responsible for the accuracy of data and documents shown in the detailed planning adjustment dossier.
As reported, Quang Nam - Da Nang Railway Joint Stock Company has a document stating that the Nam O Eco-tourism project is built within the protection area of the Nam O railway bridge.
Specifically, the project's construction of stone embankments, site leveling, bored pile construction machinery, etc. has encroached on the safety corridor of the Nam O bridge railway.
After inspecting the scene, the inspection team drew up a record requesting the investor to suspend construction of works violating the protection area of Nam O bridge.
