At noon on April 29, after visiting Ha Long Bay, many tourists went straight to restaurants in Bai Chay area, Ha Long City to eat seafood.

The most crowded is the row of restaurants on Vuon Dao Street. Traffic is busy, and people in groups spill out onto the street to find a place to have lunch. When choosing a restaurant with enough space, the favorite dishes that diners often choose are crab, shrimp, and squid.

Due to the large number of customers, every restaurant has about 2 people holding menus to greet customers.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Duong (owner of HD restaurant, Vuon Dao street, Ha Long city) said that during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, the restaurant imported 3 times more seafood than usual to serve customers. Seafood prices are high at this time. Before selling, the staff discussed prices with customers to avoid conflicts.

"Crab roe is currently sold for 800,000 VND/kg, crab is over 700,000 VND/kg but tourists still choose to eat it. My restaurant has been crowded since the first day of the holiday until now," said Ms. Duong.
