The provincial delegation visited and presented gifts to express gratitude to Dien Bien soldiers in Lao Cai city.

On the afternoon of April 22, the provincial delegation led by Mr. Vu Xuan Cuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, visited and presented gifts to Dien Bien soldiers in Lao Cai city on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

The delegation visited Mr. Luu Phuc Xuan in group 15, Bac Lenh ward.

The delegation included leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the Provincial Military Command; leaders of the City Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai city and representatives of several local authorities.

The delegation visited Mr. Luu Phuc Xuan, born in 1934, residing in Group 15, Bac Lenh Ward; Mr. Quach Dinh Sinh, born in 1932, residing in Group 13, Bac Lenh Ward; Ms. Dang Thi Lay, born in 1930, residing in Group 6, Bac Cuong Ward.

At the places visited, the provincial delegation and comrade Vu Xuan Cuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, kindly asked about and expressed their deep gratitude to the Dien Bien soldiers of the past - the generation that did not spare their blood and youth, contributing to the glorious victory of the nation - the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

The delegation sent their best wishes for health, affection and hopes that the Dien Bien soldiers of the past will continue to promote tradition, set an example for their descendants and the young generation today to follow, and contribute to building an increasingly prosperous homeland.
