In Ka Lum district, in an atmosphere of intimacy, cooperation, friendship and mutual understanding, Secretary of Tay Giang District Party Committee Bhling Mia thanked the thoughtful reception and sent the best New Year wishes to the cadres and people of Ka Lum district.
In recent times, the two sides have coordinated well in bilateral patrols of the border and border markers along the border between the two districts; propagandized and mobilized people in border areas to properly implement border management regulations and agreements; and created favorable conditions for people on both sides of the border to travel back and forth, visit relatives, and exchange goods.
The two sides do not allow illegal encroachment, migration and border crossing through small-scale routes. They regularly coordinate and exchange information to help each other in socio -economic development, especially activities to support food, medicine and medical equipment for villages in Ka Lum district.
The leaders of Ka Lum district said that in the coming time, they will continue to support and cooperate with Tay Giang district in all fields. Especially cooperation to firmly protect territorial sovereignty and national border security; maintain the tradition of traditional New Year greetings, attend major events and festivals; fully implement the contents of the minutes signed between Tay Giang and Ka Lum.
Despite many difficulties, Tay Giang district has had many activities to share and support. Recently, Tay Giang district installed and donated an LED screen system and equipment to the Ka Lum District Government Committee worth 300 million VND.
In order to share with the households in Talui village, Ka Lum district that have just been affected by fire, on this occasion, Tay Giang district supports 100 million VND, hoping that the households will soon overcome the consequences, overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
Right after finishing the visit to Ka Lum district, the delegation of Tay Giang district continued to visit Dac Chung district on the occasion of the traditional Bunpimay New Year of Laos.
The visit and New Year greetings of the delegation of Tay Giang district contributed to promoting the development of friendly relations between Laos and Vietnam in general, and between Tay Giang district and Ka Lum and Dac Chung districts in particular.
