Ho Chi Minh City delegation visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers in Ninh Binh

On the morning of July 20, Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy led a delegation to visit and present gifts to wounded soldiers at Kim Bang War Invalids Nursing Center and Duy Tien War Invalids Nursing Center in Ninh Binh.

The delegation from Ho Chi Minh City warmly visited and expressed deep gratitude to the wounded and sick soldiers who devoted their youth to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; at the same time thanked and expressed appreciation for the hearts and responsibilities of the medical staff of the nursing centers in caring for and treating the wounded soldiers.

At Kim Bang War Invalids Nursing Center, the delegation presented 30 million VND in cash and gifts worth 2 million VND to the center; and presented 75 gifts to wounded and sick soldiers, each gift worth 2 million VND.

At Duy Tien War Invalids Nursing Center, the delegation presented 30 million VND in cash and gifts worth 2 million VND; presented 53 gifts to wounded and sick soldiers, each gift worth 2 million VND.

Speaking at the visit, Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy was moved to share that the State and the people of the city will forever honor and remember the contributions of generations of revolutionary heroes and people with meritorious services. Their great sacrifices and contributions will forever be engraved in memory, becoming a spiritual resource, adding strength to the Party Committee, government and people of the city to continue the work of protecting, building and developing the Fatherland of Vietnam.

Representatives of the two nursing centers for war invalids in Ninh Binh thanked the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City for their thoughtful care and warm affection for war invalids and medical staff here.

War invalid Mai Van Gioi (born in 1954), who is being treated at Duy Tien War Invalids Nursing Center, shared: “We are very touched to receive the attention from Ho Chi Minh City. Not only the gifts, but also the sharing and encouragement help us feel that we are always remembered and respected by our compatriots nationwide.”

As planned, in the afternoon of the same day, the delegation will continue to visit and give gifts at Thuan Thanh War Invalids Nursing Center and Lang Giang War Invalids Nursing Center in Bac Ninh .

Currently, Kim Bang War Invalids Nursing Center is caring for and treating 106 wounded, sick soldiers and policy beneficiaries from Quang Ngai and beyond. Of these, 70% suffer from severe mental illness, memory loss, uncontrolled behavior, and all activities require the care of nurses and caregivers.

In 2025, Duy Tien War Invalids Nursing Center will do a good job of organizing, arranging human resources, resolving policies, and caring for 52 wounded and sick soldiers and other policy beneficiaries.
