"We watched until the end of the match. They were very strong. Therefore, the Vietnamese women's team had to concentrate, not think that any team was weak. We had to concentrate fully. The important thing when competing is ourselves, we have to be confident, go on the field in the best physical condition to fight, we only know that the opponent is very strong, so we have to fight with all our might" , Chuong Thi Kieu shared.

The defender wearing the number 3 jersey has just returned after a long period of injury treatment. She was sent onto the field by coach Mai Duc Chung in the second half of the match against the US team. Chuong Thi Kieu said she is still not 100% fit to play due to having been out for nearly a year, but returning to the field has helped the defender gradually regain her confidence and feeling for playing football.
