The head of the Vietnamese delegation attending this training session is Deputy Director of the General Department of Sports and Physical Training Tran Duc Phan, the coaching staff includes Coach Vu Van Trung and Coach Dinh Quang Linh. Athletes from the Vietnamese table tennis team with good results at the 32nd SEA Games such as Dinh Anh Hoang, Le Dinh Duc, Nguyen Thi Nga, Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh and Tran Mai Ngoc are members participating in the training and competition. However, the runner-up of the men's singles at the 32nd SEA Games Nguyen Anh Tu did not participate due to family matters.
The entire Vietnamese table tennis team achieved good results at the 32nd SEA Games.
This training course is expected to be of very high professional quality for Vietnamese table tennis players thanks to the direct training of the expert, the coach of the Japanese table tennis team. Also participating in the training and competition in this training course are the US national table tennis players and the 3rd ranked male singles player of the Japanese team.
