The Vietnamese women's team had better results than last year's tournament.

At the end of the group stage, coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa and her team won second place with 2 wins against U21 France and U21 Sesi Bauru and 1 loss against U21 China.

In the quarter-final match, the Vietnamese girls won convincingly 3-0 against U21 Canada but then lost 2-3 to the U21 Netherlands players in the semi-final.

In the third place match taking place at noon on July 19, coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa's students continued to lose 0-3 to U21 China.

This result made the Vietnamese women's team end their journey at Shanghai Future Stars 2025 in fourth place.

Compared to last year's tournament, this time the Vietnamese women's team ranked 1 place higher.

Although she could not win a medal, this was still a valuable opportunity for Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh and her teammates.

The Vietnam women's volleyball team sent a second squad with players who have not played regularly in recent times, under the guidance of coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa, to participate in Shanghai Future Stars 2025.

After the tournament in Shanghai, the players will return home to join the main team training in Tam Dao ( Phu Tho ) to prepare for the SEA V.League 2025, taking place next August.
