The merger of An Giang and Kien Giang provinces into An Giang (new) province not only has administrative significance, but also connects historical, cultural and human values. With its strategic geographical location, rich natural resources, and the tradition of diligence and creativity of its people, An Giang (new) promises to be an important growth pole of the Mekong Delta region and the whole country.
