On the first day of the new year 2025, tourist areas and spots in the province welcomed about 13,800 visitors, of which the number of overnight guests was estimated at 4,200. The average room occupancy rate at accommodation establishments was about 53%. Total revenue from tourism activities in the province is estimated at 13.9 billion VND.
Tourists mainly concentrate on prominent destinations in Phu Tho such as: Thanh Thuy hot mineral water resort, Hung Temple historical relic site, Viet Tri city center, Au Co Mau Temple, Xuan Son National Park, Long Coc tea hill and other historical and cultural relic sites. Many tourists choose pilgrimage and spiritual tours to pray for a peaceful and lucky new year.
Accommodation and tourism services during the New Year holiday were recorded as stable, ensuring security and safety for tourists. Service businesses have made efforts to meet the needs of customers, from accommodation quality to additional services.

The provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said this is a positive signal for the local tourism industry in the new year, while promoting and developing typical tourism products to attract more tourists, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
