On May 4, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, received Professor John Anthony Quelch, former Vice President of Harvard Business School, former President of Miami Herbert Business School (USA), who is visiting Vietnam.

Welcoming Professor John Anthony Quelch to visit Quang Ninh and Ha Long Bay, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, gave an overview of the potential and strengths of Quang Ninh province; the special values of landscape, geology and geomorphology of Ha Long Bay - which has been recognized by UNESCO three times as a World Natural Heritage.

The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that Professor John Anthony Quelch, with his valuable experience in business education management and national branding, and also a person who has been interested in and attached to Vietnam for many years, will continue to support Quang Ninh in promoting the local image, as well as having exchanges and contributions in areas related to sustainable development and international economic integration.

Professor John Anthony Quelch sincerely thanked the Provincial Party Secretary and Quang Ninh Province for their warm and sincere welcome. At the same time, he expressed his impression of the development of Vietnam in general and Quang Ninh Province in particular, especially in the fields of economy, tourism and culture.

In response to the attention of the Provincial Party Secretary, Professor John Anthony Quelch discussed international experiences in the field of brand promotion and image promotion; as well as giving ideas that can create a premise to help Ha Long, Quang Ninh develop quickly and sustainably.
