NDO - On the evening of January 9, in Hanoi , Hanoi National University of Education organized the Green Journey program to raise funds to accompany students in disadvantaged areas of the school.


The Fund to accompany students in difficult areas of Hanoi National University of Education was established from the initiative of Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Minh, former Principal of the school, to carry out activities to encourage learning, encourage talents, and award prizes to motivate and encourage students to overcome difficulties and promote their own abilities in studying and training.

Speaking at the program, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Minh shared: Accompanying the fund are people with noble hearts, people who entrust good beliefs. Students who receive support from the fund do not receive it for themselves, but they receive the trust, the responsibility of love, of trust, of gratitude to continue to spread it to make this life better.

The Fund to accompany students in difficult areas of Hanoi National University of Education was established from the initiative of Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Minh, former Principal of the school.

Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Minh emphasized that this fund carries the meaning of gratitude to spread gratitude, love and aspiration for good things for the future, for places and lives with many difficulties; honoring the values of dedication and sacrifice to do meaningful work. Hopefully, the students who receive support will be proud of their work, aware of their duties and make more efforts in studying and working to be worthy of the trust given. Each of us, alone, cannot do anything. For a good purpose, we need the companionship of people with noble hearts and responsibility for the homeland and country.

At the ceremony, the representative of the students receiving support from the Fund, Hoang Minh Tam, a student of K70, Faculty of History, shared that after graduating with a bachelor's degree and receiving support of 1.5 million/month from the Fund for Accompanying Students in Difficult Areas of Hanoi National University of Education. That was a great source of encouragement for him to continue to fulfill his dream of becoming a teacher. With the support of the Fund, he returned to work at the secondary school he attended.

"I really appreciate the journey, and am grateful to the teachers in the Fund and the donors who have given students the strength to reach their dreams. I have now passed the provincial civil servant exam and am preparing to transfer to a new work environment," Minh Tam emotionally shared.

The Fund was launched on January 12, 2024, receiving sponsorship from many businesses, organizations and individuals. In its first year of establishment, the Fund awarded 16 meaningful scholarships to students. At the program, Hanoi National University of Education awarded support from the Fund for Accompanying Students to 16 students, each receiving 1.5 million VND/month. Right at the ceremony, the Fund for Accompanying Students in Difficult Areas of Hanoi National University of Education received 550 million VND.
