Dong Thap: Dissemination and guidance on implementation of legal regulations on bidding and online bidding

(DTO) On July 30 and 31, the Department of Finance of Dong Thap province coordinated with the National Online Bidding Center (Department of Bidding Management, Ministry of Finance) to organize a conference to disseminate and guide the implementation of legal regulations on bidding, online bidding and operations on the National Bidding Network System, with 260 delegates attending.

In recent years, bidding activities in the province have achieved many positive results, contributing to increasing transparency, effectively using the budget, tightening financial discipline and preventing corruption, negativity and waste. The implementation of online bidding has been gradually applied by agencies, units and localities, bringing about clear results. However, in reality, there are still difficulties in grasping, synchronously and promptly applying new regulations and operating the system, requiring continued training and in-depth training.

According to the Department of Finance, this conference focuses on disseminating the key contents of the 2023 Law on Bidding, related amended and supplemented laws, and guiding decrees and circulars; at the same time, guiding the implementation of steps on the National Bidding Network System to improve the operational skills of cadres, civil servants, and public employees working in the fields of economics , finance, investment, construction, etc. at departments, branches, sectors and localities in the province.
