Young man dies after lighting firecrackers while visiting relative's house to celebrate Tet

(NLDO) - When visiting a relative's house to celebrate Tet, Mr. C. went outside to set off firecrackers, was injured and died later.


On February 3, Hai Phong City Police said that during the Lunar New Year, a young man died from setting off firecrackers while visiting a relative's house to celebrate the New Year.

According to information from Hai Phong City Police, the incident occurred at 3:00 p.m. on January 30 (the second day of Tet) in Ngu Lao Ward, Thuy Nguyen City, Hai Phong.

At this time, Mr. NHC (born in 1998, residing in Thuy Ha ward, Thuy Nguyen city) went to the house of a relative in residential group 6, Ngu Lao ward to celebrate Tet. After wishing Tet, Mr. C. went out to the alley to set off firecrackers and was injured.

Immediately afterwards, Mr. C. was taken to the Viet Tiep Friendship Hospital in Hai Phong for emergency treatment. At 4:00 p.m. on January 31, Mr. C. died.

Currently, Thuy Nguyen City Police are verifying and clarifying the incident.
