Casa Marina Island Beach Resort Project ceases operations

The termination of the Casa Marina Island Sea Tourism Project invested by Truong Thanh Island Tourism Joint Stock Company was considered based on the proposal of the Department of Planning and Investment of Binh Dinh province in Official Dispatch No. 2098/SKHDT-TTXT dated August 2, 2023. The reason given was that the investor decided to terminate the project.

The People's Committee of Binh Dinh province assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to carry out procedures to terminate the investment project according to regulations; to ensure that the organization re-selects investors to implement the project in this area.

Assign the Department of Construction to review and prepare a detailed construction plan at a scale of 1/500 to submit to competent authorities for consideration and approval according to regulations; Quy Nhon City People's Committee shall preside over and coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to inspect and add the land to the planning, land use plan, and land recovery list according to regulations.

Previously, on February 22, 2023, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Planning and Investment issued conclusion No. 1179/KL-BKHĐT pointing out violations at the Casa Marina Island Sea Tourism Project invested by Truong Thanh Island Tourism Joint Stock Company:

The project investment policy approval dossier is not complete according to regulations, the project operation period is not specified; the progress is behind schedule as approved in the investment policy; the procedure for adjusting the detailed planning 1/500 has not been carried out; the environmental impact report has not been prepared.
