(NLDO) – Tran Phu Street in Hoi An is one of the 71 most beautiful streets in the world . Spring is coming, this street seems to be even more splendid.
In May 2024, the prestigious architectural magazine Architectural Digest (USA) announced a list of 71 most beautiful streets in the world. Of which, Tran Phu Street in Hoi An Ancient Town, Quang Nam Province ranked 45th. This is also the only street in Vietnam to make the list of the most beautiful streets in the world.
Topping the list is Colmar in France. Other places in the Top 5 are Brienz in Switzerland, Setenil de las Bodegas in Spain, Águeda in Portugal and Brooklyn in New York.

According to the famous architectural publication, Hoi An was once a very prosperous and bustling trading port, especially during the period from the 15th to the 19th century. This place is chosen by many tourists to visit for many reasons, but mostly because they want to see with their own eyes the monthly lantern festival held on Tran Phu Street.
