Making Thai Binh the capital of high-tech industry

Thai Binh province has just had a working session with the Vietnam Industrial Real Estate Association on accompanying the province in planning the development of the industrial real estate market and attracting investment.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Parks (IP) Management Board gave an overview of Thai Binh Economic Zone and IPs in the province, about the area, infrastructure, mechanisms, preferential policies, investment attraction results, potentials and strengths of some IPs such as: Lien Ha Thai, Hai Long, Tien Hai, VSIP, Pharmaceutical - Biological... Information on planning, orientation, priority policies to attract investment for industrial development of the province in the coming time.

Representatives of the Vietnam Industrial Real Estate Association said that Thai Binh has many strengths in terms of land fund for industry, abundant energy resources, clean water treatment system and synchronous traffic connections.

Although Thai Binh is an attractive destination for FDI investors, there are not many high-tech electronics projects in the semiconductor and chip manufacturing industries. The member enterprises of the Association shared some key factors to attract high-tech projects such as clean land, large enough land area, location near airports and seaports, convenient traffic connections, good clean water treatment systems, priority given to the use of renewable energy, and social services that meet the needs of experts.

The Association wishes to accompany the province in planning the development of the industrial real estate market, attracting investment towards the goal of making Thai Binh the most attractive investment location in Vietnam, the capital of the high-tech industry.

Permanent Vice Chairman of Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quang Hung and leaders of relevant departments and branches worked with the Vietnam Industrial Real Estate Association.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quang Hung highly appreciated the content shared by enterprises and the Vietnam Industrial Real Estate Association. The ideas accompanying the province in innovating the investment and business environment, planning the development of high-tech and ultra-high-tech industrial parks are in line with the current development aspirations and orientations of the province and the whole period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.

The Standing Vice Chairman of Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee hopes that with its experience and strength in contacting many leading investors in the world, the Vietnam Industrial Real Estate Association will support the province in attracting large, high-tech projects to invest in economic zones and industrial parks. The two sides need to increase meetings and information exchanges to help the province make a breakthrough in industrial development.
