Don't criticize 'one night' guests

Báo Thanh niênBáo Thanh niên11/06/2023

What exactly happened? What impact does it have on the Mui Ne tourism brand?... We asked a few questions like that and received feedback from some companies specializing in tours for weekend guests: some resorts do not accept groups of guests who only book one night on Friday or Saturday. Only when guests book both nights on the weekend will the resort sell rooms. This makes the group's plan "bankrupt" because they only have time to go for 1 night and 2 days.

Immediately after the above information, Mr. Tran Van Binh, Vice President of Binh Thuan Tourism Association, explained that it is true that some tourist establishments refuse guests for one night on weekends. However, this is only a very small number, not representing the Binh Thuan tourism industry, nor the Mui Ne brand. Mr. Binh himself is also the owner of a 3-star resort, he said: "It is good to pray for guests to come, one night is also good, why not?"

Vice President of Binh Thuan Tourism Association Le Ngoc Ha, who is also the investor of a large resort in Binh Thuan, analyzed that the above phenomenon is a long-standing business trick, existing in many places, not just Mui Ne. But he shared with us, "with this type of business - applied to Mui Ne in the current competitive context - sooner or later it will fail".

"One bad apple spoils the barrel" is unacceptable, especially after the pandemic, all tourist establishments must upgrade their services, provide more and provide the best services to serve tourists not only on weekends, 1 or 2 nights. Mui Ne - Binh Thuan tourism has just been "received" by the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway, bringing a large number of "one-night" visitors, because the travel conditions are so favorable. That is a good sign for Mui Ne that must be cherished and preserved. Regardless of the type of visitor, how many nights they stay, at this time they should not be refused for short-term benefits.
