Vietnam Railways among the world's most spectacular train journeys

The famous international travel website Lonely Planet has just named Vietnam's Thong Nhat railway (North-South railway) in first place among the 9 most spectacular train journeys in the world .

The Thong Nhat Railway is considered by Lonely Planet to be an incredibly epic railway journey, departing from the capital Hanoi and ending in Ho Chi Minh City with a distance of about 1,730km.
