On the evening of July 15, singer Elvis Phuong posted a long post on his personal page after his sister, singer Kieu Nga, suddenly passed away.

He wrote: "Kieu Nga, how can I keep my heart at peace? What dust has transformed into my body, so that one day I will return to dust...".

Brothers 15 years apart, now separated by yin and yang

Elvis Phuong recalls his youngest sister: "My Kieu Nga, we were born into a family of 10 children, 15 years apart. The day I started my singing career was the day Nga first appeared in this life. Phuong is the eldest child and Kieu Nga is the youngest.

The two of us have completely different personalities. Phuong and Nga both know the difference between us. One is quiet, a bit slow and gentle in everything, and the other is lively from inside the house to outside the gate. He has a cheerful and humorous personality but is stubborn and hot-tempered and cannot be controlled. No matter how much I advise him, he will not be able to do it."

The singer contemplated that "parents give birth to children, God gives them their personalities". Among his 8 younger sisters, he admitted that he loves Kieu Nga the most because she shares the same interests as him: singing and beautiful clothes.

"The more I love, the longer I stay angry..." - Elvis Phuong wrote, implicitly referring to the sad story between the siblings when Kieu Nga was still alive - "Since the day Mom left us, even though it's over, I still can't forget this sad story. We don't talk to each other and we're getting further and further apart."

However, the love of family is still there. When he heard that Kieu Nga was seriously ill, his heart ached. He and his wife prayed to God for Kieu Nga to recover soon. But there was no miracle, his sister passed away.

Elvis Phuong sadly said: "Kieu Nga has passed away. Rest in peace, Nga, where your Dad and Mom are, and where Sinh Huong and Hong Tam (Nga's third sister and brother Tam are) are."

Remembering Kieu Nga from childhood, adulthood and on stage

Along with the memorial post, Elvis Phuong posted pictures of Kieu Nga from when she was a little girl, to when she became a beautiful woman, and when the two siblings were on stage together.

Reading the article, many viewers felt Elvis Phuong's "tears from the bottom of his heart" when his beloved sister passed away.
