On the evening of August 1, singer Vo Ha Tram released the MV Nguyen La Nguoi Viet Nam (I am Vietnamese) , marking an emotional return to the traditional - revolutionary music genre praising the homeland and country. This is a genre that has been associated with the singer's nearly 20-year career.
Nguyen La Nguoi Viet Nam was composed by 9X musician Doan Minh Quan. The song has an easy-to-listen, easy-to-sing melody and is rich in depth, with refined lyrics, honoring the contributions of our ancestors, praising mothers, soldiers, compatriots... who sacrificed for today's peace . The song represents the spirit of modern Vietnam: Respecting the past - looking towards the future.
Lyrics like “ My Vietnam is the sacred mountains and rivers/ My people are the descendants of dragons and fairies…” , or “ Peace is so beautiful, spreading everywhere/ Independence – Freedom – Happiness / The Vietnamese flag flutters, millions of hearts respond”… resound with pride, both calm and heroic, arousing love for the country with simple yet profound melodies and words.
Vo Ha Tram’s powerful, technical and emotional voice is the soul of the song. She sings each word with sincere emotion. In particular, the 15-second chant of the word “Vietnam” at the end is very impressive.

The MV Nguyen La Nguoi Viet Nam was carefully invested, opening with the image of a gentle heroic Vietnamese mother, working hard to raise her children to adulthood, sending them off to war and choking up when receiving bad news from the battlefield. These images not only depict personal pain but also symbolize millions of Vietnamese mothers, where family love blends with love for the Fatherland.
The highlight of the MV is the integration of the image of the Vietnamese National Flag in historical milestones, appearing throughout the MV journey as a connection between history, present and future.
Right after the MV is released, Vo Ha Tram will perform the song Nguyen La Nguoi Viet Nam live for the first time in the art program The Epic of the Vietnamese People's Police , taking place on August 2 at the Hanoi Opera House.

Vo Ha Tram said that all revenue from the MV on digital platforms, along with her personal savings, will be donated to the “For the Poor” Fund of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. “I hope this small gift will contribute to spreading the love for the homeland, the country and the spirit of mutual love to more people,” the singer expressed.
